i never figured this out.. im an occasional driver so seat heaters and wheel warmer does a good job. I will get that sensor installed though.

 

I'm getting more serious though. I'm also buying the obd cable to diagnose it properly, as you know not all codes through a check engine light.

 

go to idrive climate settings and switch the "blue bars" over to "red bars!!!!" i cant stress this enough, i thought my heater was broken too!! turns out it was typical german "over-engineering"

 

But i think it's cool that you can adjust a temp for dashboard vents. Some hate those vent blowing in your face, but I like a fresh air (of course new filter will be a good add.) is blowing in my face, but warm inside a car at same time.

 

Ok so my cable came in got INPA and ran it. Got a S*** load of errors!!! and i dont understand any of them lol.

Now i was playing around with it.. and i can get the the blower motor to direct air where i want it now, but still no hot air. When i try to activate the PTC or auxillary water pump i get an job error? Also when putting 50% to water valves they just go on and of simultaneously?
