Think i figured it out.. here's a picture. This is a picture of the oil heat exchanger which is connected to the oil filter. The metal tube was crushed, I tried to pull it forward and it broke off. There was still coolant flowing but it was squeezed pretty bad. Anyways tell me if you think this is the reason coolant wasn't getting pushed to the heater core, either way it has to be replaced.

Could be. Those years are known for faulty water pumps too. Just did a new water pump and thermostat on a friends car. 2006 525 60,000 miles.
