I noticed on my 550i that if I'm using DS mode on my Steptronic transmission, that the engine doesnt seem to brake as it should. Here is the use case:
I am in M2 and accelerate rapidly from 2K RPM to 6K RPM. When I let go of the pedal, the engine behaves as if my foot is still on the pedal. It's a very un-nerving feeling as if you have no control over the throttle.
Now I've read about how there is a bit of a delay with the pedal and about how the Sprintbooster helps, but I cannot believe that the throttle is so delayed as to cause a safety issue. Anyone else experience this or is it just my car?

yes, the delay is happen to everybody! that is why almost everyone have sprintbooster on! but i notices if you are at high speed already...even with sprintbooster they also have delay issue too! if you are already driving 80 m or over and try to pedal to the floor, guess what your can is not going anywhere without a small delay too!
