The US might get priority for a powerful petrol engine like this. Their market is thirsty for it (just look at what the US competion is doing).
However, and it's a big however...
The US has very limited engine choices, many options are not available there at all, sometimes colour and interior choices are very limited, the cars often have ugly 'afterthought' design like orange reflectors, airbag warning everywhere, non-aspherical drivers mirror (believe me you would miss this) etc. etc.
Anyway, you can be sure that the 535i will come to Europe in a few months....
