Good stuff and a few tips.
I have done a good amount of semi-pro photography. If you want to get a great use of light wait for a half an hour past sunset or a half an hour before sunrise. Set your camera at f/22 and an exposure of two minutes. This will pull in the blue of the sky and give you a great shot!
Keep them coming!

18-200VR is a great all-around lens, but the range is 3.5-5.6, Nikon 50mm/f1.8 AF, will run you at about $100.
