Great pictures

By the way, I don't get the point why needing white angel eyes. They look much better original, dimmed,
a little bit mystic. And they are not driving lights anyway, are they ?
Hartsa
Great pics.
Wish I had time these days to experiment.

EDIT -
What camera are you using?
How about using some colored flash bursts on the ground around the car?

How did you get your angel eyes to stay on? As soon as I open my door they go off, I wanted to try to get a shot with them on.
Turn your light switch to the parking light position.

Totally agree, the originals look like the devils eyes, the white ones I see just look like cheap aftermarket mods!

Great pics though!! I would leave the fogs off though and slow the speed down a little.
Also what lens are you using? Looks like you had it at around F5.6?
If you got a cheap fixed focal that will allow you to go down to say F1.8 you will let far more detail in in darker scenes, if you were using one of the kit lenses try going down lower, should do f3.5 no problem. This will also get the car nice and focused and blur the background a little.
Thanks. Im using nikon 18-200 VR lens. Will try your suggestion next time .

Do you know any cheap lens with fixed 1.8?

Thanks guys!

BMW#5 :

Im using nikon D50 with Nikon 18-200 f3.5-5.6 VR lens.

I still need to learn to use flash. Do you happen to know what is good for NIKON flash?

Chappy:
I painted the grill myself. You can buy the replica (already painted black) on ebay though.

I am not sure with the Nikon range, it was one of the main reasons I went Canon, cheaper lenses.
I have a Canon 50mm f/1.8mm that was around $100, I am sure there is a similar one for the Nikon.

The reason I said about leaving the fogs off is they are quite alot brighter than anything else in the image, so everything else looks darker when they are on, you loose detail in the surrounding areas.

But set the camera to iso 1600, zoom it out and set it manually to f/3.5, this means you will let loads of light in and capture detail and atmosphere!
