My first and last time that I used aftermarket oil filter had same oil leak by the filter after 9k miles. Since then I been using only oem filter and last 15k without any oil leak.
O-rings from oem filters are thicker and last longer and they are only few dollars more.

I did use an aftermarket filter......Looks like I'll have get an OEM next oil change.
