This has been discussed before, I bought my license plate frame from http://www.mats.com. I use the BMW mats, both summer and winter sets.

Actually, I am loving my BMW rubber mats from the dealer. They were priced well below what I had anticipated. I got a solid black metal license plate frame for my rear plate and have left my front plate flush against the holder.

I liked the rubber BMW mats as well, but only the black! I have the grey interior and initially got the grey mats. They showed EVERY scuff and speck of dirt! Of course the grey carpet mats were no better, so I have now switched to the black carpet mats. They work OK with the grey interior and don't show the dirt and scuff marks.

I have a white e60 with beige interior.

In the summer I have a basic BLACK mat on the driver's side and keep the beige mats on the passenger side and rear since I only have passengers once or so per week. Looks real clean keeping the beige mats.

In the winter I have black BMW rubber mats all the way around (F&R)

Exclamation

Got smoke color license plates covers(two: front and rear) for less than $5/- (www.advanceautoparts.com.)
Looks very nice, blends & perfect match for my 528 xi-Platinum gray.

They also carry Clear-Transparent, light Blue (for bluers) and smoked color (grayers). (with frames less than $10/-)

I think a simple set of black plate frames would look elegant and clean, only other option IMO is chrome . No branding just plain , less is more

Cheers
