Hey all, I just recently sold my X5 4.8i and was going back and forth between the 335i M-Sport and the 535...I ended up buying the 535i because of the extra space, etc.
2010 535i M-Sport Carbon Black Metallic on Black Dakota
ZCW
ZMP
ZPP
ZVP
STEPTRONIC
Comfort Access
Fold Down Rear
Navigation
HD /SAT Radio
Premium Hi-fi
and I take delivery tomorrow! Can't wait! Anyway, I was looking at the 550i as well but for 9K more I didn't pull the trigger (have a new baby too so trying to save a little $$). The car is in another city about 45 minutes from where I bought it so they are getting it today ( I haven't seen it except in pics) but I was wondering, is it true that this car has non-run flat tires? And if so what brand do they use? Also do the 5's have the exterior lights under the door handles when opended/close? Anyways, I have been reading these boards for a while now and look forward to being a 5 owner and contributing when I can!
Thanks!

Welcome to the forum - carbon black is a wonderful color. Please post some pictures after you pick your new baby up!
Also its a good idea to post your location (country, state, county, or city etc.) in your personal profile - as BMW's in different parts of the world have different packages and setups.
Oh, those first 1,500 miles are going to be tough - I know, its hard to be a feather-foot.

On the 5 series the puddle courtesy light is located under the side rearview mirrors.
Why didn't you get the Sport Automatic trans?
Congrats!

The tires will be Continental, Bridgestone, or Dunlop. The brand you get is whatever they have in stock at the factory.
There are two puddle lights under the mirrors. There are no puddle lights on the door handles like the 3 series.
