I've been really wishing that I could find a source for the iDrive software each time I get an update to the CIP software. It seems that the manual that comes with the car is out of date each time the software is modified, and I wish I knew how some features truly work from within iDrive.

Does anyone know if BMW post the user manuals that pertain to each update that can be downloaded anywhere?

I don't think the info is available from BMW. These days auto software is like computer software--no manual to speak of. It is getting to where we are assumed to know how things work or can figure it out. This assumption is somewhat reasonable, but still difficult to live with some of the time. It's just a a fact of an unnecessarily complicated, IMO, high-tech world. I can do it, but I liked the 1950's the best.
