Default New Transmission Service Bulletin-- Details?

Hi Fellow Members,
My Indy shop told me that BMW recently issued a new service bulletin that calls for the replacement of leaking internal adaptor gaskets in the transmission to resolve some malfunction-- two seals that live above the valve body in the transmission. The shop is recommending that I replace those gaskets when I have the ATF changed as preventative. This new adaptor gasket service is NOT the "mechatronics sleeve". (The shop proposes to change the ATF, replace the "mechatronics sleeve" and the adapter gaskets per the new bulletin for about $900 as preventative maintenance on a tranny at 50k miles). Have you heard about this new bulletin? Have a copy to share? Any thoughts? Thx.

See this thread I posted for more info and pictures.

Yes, it is definitely a good idea. They are recommending replacement of the bridge seal. I'd also pay another $20 and have them replace the four sealing sleeves that are right next to the bridge seal.
