Hey guys what's up?
I finally bought the Tire and Wheel protection for my car. I was stalling and decided to go to the dealer and purchase the plan. It turns out that they instituted a new plan called MY TIRE EXPERT-TIRE AND WHEEL SHIELD. Similar to the last plan they had but with more upgrades. This plan covers road hazards such as debris on the road, pot holes and out of nowhere curbs. Check this out , it even covers ROAD RASH. There are 3 plans and I opted for the SHIELD PLATINUM which covers tires to $350, wheels to $700 and mounting and balance to $50. This is for each occurence and each wheel. The plan was $795 and I was able to get it for $600, with some negotiating, for 5 years.
I think it's a great plan and I'm glad I got it. It also covers my wheels if I put on approved BMW snows on the car. I checked with them and the Dunlop M3's are on the list which are the tires I'm planning to get.
What do you guy's think about the plan? Here is a website with some info www.sonsio.com
Thanks Guys, Rick.....

Sounds very comprehensive ! You will get 3 or 4 curb rashes at least and probably a ruined tire and rim so it will easily pay for itself and it's a nice feeling to know you're covered.

You will be glad when you get a nail in one of your run flats that can't be fixed. Run flats will easily set you back over $300/each.
