My wife has put me between a rock and a hard place! New rims or new Ping g10's. I was at the Masters on thursday and the course is 10 times better in person than on tv. It's got me wondering. What to do, what to do!

which wheels? how much time do you spend in your car vs. on the course? will the clubs really improve your game that much? just some things to consider...

maybe new wheels vs. a new golf cart..that's a tough choice... .

any sporting event is better live on TV (HD helps a little). But golf especially, can't watch this sport on TV for any amount of time...

hahaha....I completely agree. For some reason any time I turn on golf I'm asleep within 10 minutes. Total snoozefest. Fun to play though if you're with the right people.

I tried watching the Masters today but I ended up working on the cars/bike all day.

We have the same garage almost! I bought an 03 z4 3.0 when they came out and have an 05 545i. I have not found the exact rims that I like for the e60. I am not a chrome fan when on a white car. I like the ASA zr2's on z4's but have spent hours looking for rims that I like on the e60.

I do not play tons of golf but enjoy it very much. I am still hitting the original ping eye2's now. Don't really care if the g10's make me better just want something new. I would probably say 30 golfers at the master had g10's. Of course they don't have to buy them!

A new set of g10's will go for 7 bills more or less. my question is, what kind of rims are you looking to buy for $700?

My .02, get the clubs. and may i suggest the callaway x-20's over the ping g10. they're the same price but u'll get more choices on different shafts for the irons.

Get the G10s ... they play very well and look great in the trunk ;-) Also try to get professionally fitted by the folks in the PING Fitting Van. Go to the Ping web site to find out when it will be in your area. They fitted me completely different than the local Ping shop. It is worth doing!

Get both........then sell your old rims and clubs to help subsidize the costs!
