I think there is difference between what you just listed and slapping an M badge on

You have an M-tech kit, and M 19" alloy wheels....what's stopping you from slapping on some M5 badges?
BTT: Car looks good, IMO I would lose the M badge, but as long as you are happy with it

The M badge is retarded.
Installer must have dropped it a couple times and drank and smoked when it was still on the assembly line. Which is why there should be a BMW Special Olympics, where people that try to make their cars look like a higher model to the degree this guy did can race each other and argue that their "M5 coupe" which looks a lot like a 1-series beat the "M9" that looks oddly like a Hyundai Genesis. I would do the wheels and M-Tech kit, but the badging and even the side grilles are a bit too much, in my opinion. There's a reason BMW differentiates its Ms and non-Ms with a quad exhaust, V10, skirt, and side grilles, to name a few.
I even have an issue with debadging to some extent. If you genuinely believe that it makes the car look better, then do it. But if you do it because deep down inside you don't want people to know you have a 525/28/30, then you're issues stem beyond a debadging and you should leave it on and look for people's approval another way.
Either way, it's your car not mine; I won't have to see the look on someone's face when they pop your hood expecting a V10 and instead see a V8 (actually, I would, just not from your point of view). A 545 is a bad ass car, but it's not an M5. Be proud of what you have. Think of those driving Kias. Ooops.

Bahamutzyro, just curious if you also put a Z06 badge on the fenders of your Vette?
