Just take the badge off already. If it isn't embarrassing enough for you've been called out on two different things, the badge and reposts, then it'll be the person that asks you to pop your hood or where your M-button is and you'll have no answer.

I just put a 523i (Yes, that would be a 3) badge on my car. Is that so wrong?
And for the record, this guys car looks much better than Eddie Presley's car. Sorry Eddie, but the M6 wheels on the E60 are the way to go. Also, shadowline trim is a must.
