Congratulations!

Very nice! It's pix like these that remind me of how nice it would be to own a Black car.

But then it's the "Don't want to get it dirty" and Rainy Days that remind why I shouldn't get a black car.

That's why I joined the Forum -- So I can admire the Black BMWs without having to clean them!

Holy Blind Bat, Batman. CoolTones called Veights' car black when it is clear as day that it's Monaco Blue.
Yes Robin, even after it was painstakingly washed by hand, it was still called a black car.
LOL!

LOL -- I was just thinking the same. In all fairness though, when I first looked at the pics I thought it was Carbon Black

The car looks awesome.
Nice to know how my car could look like if I did a full cleaning session on it. Maybe next weekend... maybe

Looks great Bill! Nothing like a sparkling clean car. Now go drive the crap out of it! It deserves it!
Specially before it starts snowing in a couple more months! Gurnee is a nice area...I used the Golds Gym there before when I had business meetings in Libertyville.

Now the problem is once you clean it, I hate to drive it and get it dirty again.
I like! Love the 166's. I know the feeling, as does everyone here, re: not wanting to get it dirty after a good wash and wax. It would be one thing if there wasn't so much brake dust, but in one day the wheels are filthy again. Oh well....gives us something to do.

Doh!
Sorry. Honest. I thought it was black. I guess when you own a silverstone colored BMW anything darker looks black. I better go out to my garage and make sure I did get silverstone!

Cheers,
Tony

Hey, I also thought it was black, until I saw the "my car" specs.

Nice looking ride for sure!! Thanks for clarification on the color as I had it pegged as Carbon Black all the way! I just ordered the Monaco Blue 535i and didn't realize it was so dark...was it a dark day when you snapped that photo? I've had black cars before and they are the sharpest looking when clean (for about 10 mins)...and I'm too busy these days with new company to keep it washed/waxed one a week. Do you have a close up pic of the rear....I'd like to see that M5 rear spoiler that you installed.

thx!
