How is the sound of the hifi/car when driving? do you feel the punch of the bass much more (like it did in the old days when we had super subwoofers in the trunk
)
was it supposed to "kill" the outside sound ( from engine and wind).
Did you listen to the logic7 before you bought the Dirac stereo?
edit: and another thing, can you take a picture of the backseat when the front seats are all the way back?

The low is somewhat lower then they logic system i had before, the kicks are now massive compared to strong with logic and the high is less agresive and more detailed and matches better to the kicks. At times the highs where to strong in logic.
And you get more power because the sound is louder without distorsion
pics, we will c, i dont have the car now, its being lowered in the shop

Notice that also your car came with matt shadowline trim (not high gloss) and standard gear shifter lever (not M-sport). Just mentioning it, if you didn't know / notice already.

it high gloss, somehow you did not c it on the pics but its there. Yes shifter is gone. Not listed anymore on the m pack but in belgium shadow high gloss is not a option anymore, its included in m pack

huh? the M-shifter is gone from the m-sport pack? that would be a BIG  if BMW have taken that out of the pack. I thought it was just a mistake on some of the early LCI m-sport models. or am I just getting confused here?

But thats not a problem. I already bought a hamann shifter witch i would have bought anyway. IN belgium its not realy a negative as the shadow line high gloss is now part of the m pack for the same cost. Thats a 2OO dollar option now included and a 80 dollar option (shifter) not included. The result is possitive : you save money and you get a nicer car as the shadow line high gloss give s the car more ellegance then the short shifter.
Update of the car:
Mods:
HR race springs: all i can say is wow.... this mods is very nice. Same confort on the 172 style wheels and much better ride and appearence.
Hamann pedals : gas, brake, clutch
Spacers: the 172 wheels are now flush rear and front with the car. Its realy a fat look : i love it.
Pics when the rain will stop.
I also bought a ipod clip and bracket to connect the ipod with the aux in witch is standaard provided with the car.
Sound qualety of the aux is exellent. In retrospect i should have bought the usb but i have read repports that the ipod usb connectin does not work with generation 4 ipods witch i own so....

Pmmke,
"I also bought a ipod clip and bracket "
Where did you buy these parts?
Which cable do you use to connect the iPOD to the Aux?

but i bought new one to try if there is a difference. I want to try to have only 1 cable for charging and hooking up the ipod to the sound system
bracket: 2 piece
first you need the proclip by brodit
http://www.dsldevelopments.com/proclipsearch.asp
click on mount MP3 player then chooce apple logo
choose your ipod : mine was ipod 4O gb 4th generation
first you choose the holder: for me , i want o cover on the ipod so i choose a holder that is thikker
STEP 1- Choose the Brodit Holder STEP 2- Choose the Brodit ProClip
Brodit MP3 Player Passive Holder Tilt Swivel for Apple iPod 4th Generation 40 GB
Item No. : 848618
Stock : 6 ? 24.99
STEP 2: choose a clip
just type in bmw E60 2007 in the 3 different fields and choose the one you like. I bought the one for the console middle left under placement
there are lots of choices
Then we need a cable: i bought a charger with has a aux stereo jack 3.5 mm on the charger cable itself and a amplifier and a volume control. It s normal for the belkin tape cable but i think it will work out to . If i succees i will only have 1 cable at the bottom of the ipod and non on the top of the ipod wich is nicer.
The stereo jack is plugged in in the cable box itsself witch i will not c as it will be under my seat
ebay cable
http://cgi.benl.ebay.be/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V...p;rd=1&rd=1
the idea is: on the siggarette lighter socket itself there is a 3.5mm stereo jack and a volume control button. You cant c it very good but its there. So i plug the stereo jack directly into tthe sigarette belkin adapter
