Anyone know what was included in the 2004 Premium and Sport Packages? I'm a new owner and thought I was supposed to have the upgraded sterero. If not, can I upgrade my system? It is supposed to have the Premium and Sport Pkg's.

to 5series.net.

Please post pics of your ride.

If you are referring to the Logic 7 stereo system, that is a stand alone option. I do not believe that it is a part of any option package.

Cool, that makes me feel a little better about my dealer. I'll take some pics, but I'm guessing it's a pretty standard 5 Series. I hadn't considered purchasing one, but the price was in my range and more car than I was looking to buy.

First off, on board and enjoy the forums!

In the Information section of the forums, you will find all sorts of details about the E60 specs, including the attached original press release.

5_Series_Press_Release_US.pdf

On page 24/25 of this document, you will find the details of the premium and sport packages. Its the 2003 press release, but I am sure it still applies to your 2004 model.

hope that helps

to the forums
you can always check your iDrive to see if you have the Logic7 sound system... if you have an option in your sound settings that allows you to put "concert" or "theater" mode, you have L7 my friend
another way... if you go to the menu, click on the iDrive knob, on the list with all the settings, under sound settings there should be a small L7 icon... hope that helps

Nope, no L7 sound, but I'm not disappointed with the sound I'm getting. Thanks for the info.

Welcome to the forum, there are many options for upgrading the sound system. Just a matter of taste really.
