Does your CPO warranty cover electronics as well? such as i-drive, audio and etc. If CPO warranty just covers power train then there is no reason for you to get the ipod kit over Dension Gateway 500.

If electronics are covered, then go with bmw oem ipod kit. Also try other dealerships in your area for the quote.

I have no desire for a full Ipod interface as I dont use my Ipod ever in the car, but sure would like to hook up an AUX audio source (my Garmin GPS is my MP3 player as well).

Well my sales guy called me today (as I told him too) and assured me that I would not have to deal with that finance guy. My sales guy broke down every aspect of the vehicle maintenance history and CPO check list, we went through the list to make sure that I understood everything.

One more thing, I plan on keeping this car for awhile and would really like the Ipod interface, my sales guy said the part alone was $170 not including labor, he's going to get me a discount, but would you guys recommend to get it else where?

I was a bit hesitant at first b/c of the color combo, but the more I looked at it the more I fell for it. Plus its not everyday you see this combo, my only concern is trying to keep it clean!
