Hi I have just bought:

In germany 525d 05/2005

Has I believe! Business nav, blue tooth ( snap in in glove box for old nokia?), voice control, single dash cd. PDC etc.
Sat nav DVD is 2005-1 Europe.

I have searched the topics and realise I would like to have had the map but that requires the proffesional nav package. I have seen elsewhere an article about needing DVD drive etc for Proffesional, is it just a case of the unit in the boot being changed? as suggested on Bimmerfest? Is it totally uneconomic? Could a module ? be sourced from a crashed vehicle?

Any way of much more interest at the moment -- IS it possible to change the language on the I drive system - it currently speaks and displays in German. I would like to be able to have it in English or Swedish when I come to sell the car.

I will not be in England with the car for at least 10 weeks and have not got around to conversing in Swedish with the BMW dealer yet.

Any help would be appreciated the German dealer said it was fine in Germany and was not much more help! ( he was not the BMW main agent and I suspect did not want to pay for any programming)

Have found in the settings of I drive in German "sprach" and managed to change the car to English, other option was french.

Is it possible to get other languages loaded?

still wondering about nav upgrade any help appreciated.
