Yes, that's a good question. I've had mine several years and love it. I did have the limp mode several time but started after I installed the injen CAI. Only got the error when I would drive it outside of normal limits. Reinstalled injen, checked everything but nothing changed. Removed the CAI after about one month and I've never had the issue again. My thought is that the air entering the system may have been too hot and messing with a sensor.
