what he said but i would swap 1 and 5. oem 166s, 167, 128 or 172 would be the top 4 choices in that order imo.
Wheels are like clothes -- everyone has different tastes. My order would be 172s, 167's, 166's and 128.

They are all nice looking wheels.

So... I like the 166's for sure, but think I will stick with my stock ones for the track and buy some nice ones for daily drivers. Not sure yet what I want to go with, but I will definitely get input once I figure it out.

Nice! MT is the only way to go!
I agree 100%! I've always felt the 5 to be a luxury, but when you get it in MT, it gives it that sporty feel that I love about driving.

Hello all. I just bought my first BMW. I've driven others before but this is my very own. I purchased a CPO 2007 Alpine White 550i MT and named her Paige (hence the SN). I absolutely love my car and am overwhelmed as to where to start with the mods. Any suggestions?
aboard! Congrats on the beautiful 550

Welcome to the club and NICE 550! Love the color and transmission choices particularly.

Well, if cash is not a worry....

1) Shadowline trim
2) Coilovers to lower the car
3) M-tech or Umnitza M5 front bumper
4) M-tech side skirts and rear bumper
5) 19" OEM rims or whatever else you like

That should get you where you want to be.
Yep, do this list and your e60 will look EXACTLY like "every other e60 on this forum"

Welcome to the forum! We have another female E60 owner on this board in the Bay Area, lilazngrl4o8 (Kristine). She has a 545 and I think she's finally beginning to do some mods to it.

You should come out to one of our meets some day to get ideas on what to do to your car. I think the VIP wheels being sold by member phattbam (also in the Bay Area) would look hot on your car. Also check out SonicMS in Mountain View as Jerry and I both have our cars done by them. Darwin's the owner and he's a great guy.

I'm adding you to our NorCal members list. Would you also be interested in going to our San Luis Obispo meet next weekend?

Thanks for the headsup. I checked out the wheels and they are way too heavy!! They are a pretty freakin nice set though.

As for the meet, unfortunately I won't be able to make it =(. I am working both Saturday and Sunday. Take lots of pictures!!

Would you be interested in my wheels? They are 26.4 lbs in the rear and 27.4 lbs in the front. The VIPs are about 31-32lbs I believe. I've only had them for 10 months but recently had them custom painted in platinum gray. Would look hot on an AW car.
