Hello all
I just traded in my 2002 525 for a 2009 CPO 535i. I can't get over how much different the car is.

My first question is however, inside the glove box there is no sat box or cd changer. I was not sure if it should have one or the other. It has the premium pack, sport pack and cold weather but I am not sure of what fully came with each.

Enter the last 7 digits of your vin to get a spec sheet specific to your car.
Then refer to the brochure to see what each option offers.

If you bought your car from a BMW dealer you could / should tell the dealer service adviser to run a VIN report and provide a print-out of all installed options as well as any already bought (previous owner) service or maintenance contracts. Many many many BMW dealers sold original owners the extended service contracts - those follow the car!!

If you don't have a 6cd changer it probably means you have the standard stereo set-up - not logic7. As for Satellite radio - look for it in your entertainment settings in iDrive. Sat radio may still be under an active contract - I think it was bundled/installed and coded in the Premium Package for '09. But you may need to find out if it is still covered by an active contract - same with BMW Assist (4 years / 50k miles).

Many cars came without the changer but have Logic 7.

Look in your armrest forward wall and see if you have the iPod and USB connection. If you do, the you are regressing if you want a cd player...

If you have the SAT module, you should get a free 90 day trial of Sirius XM. I'm debating now if I want to suscribe, because my trial is out at the end of the month. They offered me a $25 for 5 month deal, so I'll probably go at least 5 more months, but I doubt I'd pay full price.

Congrats on the upgrade! I love my CPO 535i more after 3 months of ownership then I did when I first bought it!

Very cool links, thanks.

Question - my car was advertised as having Logic7 audio, however I don't see it in the spec sheet link. I do not have a CD changer in the glovebox, however I know that's not necessarily an indicator. Can someone who has the Logic7 package check and see if the spec link above actually states Logic7 somewhere?

Mine does not list it as Logic 7 either.
