Hey guys, I'm new here. I currently have an '03 Z4 2.5i and I'm looking to upgrade. I found this 550i that seems to be a good deal in my area. I contacted the seller and I'm going to go test drive it tonight. Any advice for me?

looks like it's a buy back? non sport, no wow factor, plain jane. I'd pass. If you're in the market for a 550, don't settle for less. Find one that's fully loaded.

according to the description of the seller, it looks like that car has a branded title because it was a lemon law buyback at some point, which probably why it was BMW that resold it. if you want a 5er, wait for a clean version, preferably with all it's service history. i would recommend doing a search on common problems with these cars... i just bought my car about a month ago after doing a bit of research, and you'd be amazed at the amount of information available on this and other forums. good luck.
