I posted a while back that I was having problems with not being able to get more than a gallon or so of gas into the car without having the nozzle click off. This was the case even on the slowest setting. Because this was my 3rd E60 I knew the problem was unique to my vehicle in that I hadn?t experienced anything similar with the other two cars (in other words I knew it wasn't the angle of the nozzle or something I was doing wrong).
Long story short I finally got around to taking the car in for service and remedy turns out to be a whole new tank. About a week to a week and-a-half to get the tank in and another day or so to install it.
In the meantime I?m driving around in my loaner a ?lovely? Pontiac GP Wide Track somethingorother. The kid at rental shop told me to watch out because ?it was fast? I just smiled, thanked him?and took the keys

I believe gas tank replacement is a new malady for the forum. Don't know whether to congratulate or sympathize. Please accept both.
