New to fourm, 1 quick question re nav display
Bought a CPO 2008 535i a couple weeks ago and am still getting use to everything, but its a great car to say the least.
Is there a way to have 1 full screen on the display instead of the splt screen? I'd like to be able to utilize the full screen for navigation, instead of the radio/nav combo or the nav/direction combo. I can't seem to find this setting anywhere.
Thanks.

really? i'm pretty sure you can just have one screen, though i don't remember how. the salesman set mine up as 2 screens...i'm pretty sure he didn't do any particular dealer-only trick to get it that way either.

Sorry, the 60/40 split screen is something you'll have to get used to...
There's actually a really expensive, time intensive and certainly not efficient way of getting around this. The answer lies in a full CIC LCI Mod and 2010 Nav Software.
I know, I know. Its not the practical response NYGOLF was looking for.Cheers!
