My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.

The MY '08 (September built) E60 will give active headrests to avoid whiplash injuries.

For EU the 520d engine will improve a lot, now with 177 hp and 350 Nm of torgue.
Also the new (from spring) autogearbox is now available for the 520d.

The L4 2.0 litre diesel engine is a eco one, only 136 g/km of CO2.

For EU also a new base model, the 520i is introduced with a L4 2.0 litre gasoline engine (170 hp and 210 Nm).
From 0 -100 km in 8,7 sec.

But still no 535i so the 535d with 286 hp is closest but with 580 Nm instead of the 400 Nm of the 535i.

hi,

I am pretty sure your dealer in Italy will arrange you a test drive, the car is worth of it!

Oh, yes!
With 200+ remapped and short gears imho it won't be so slow as we think!

Greetings from Finland
Thanks, bye!

I have seen some pictures of new headrests on the comfort seats, did they change the seats also or just the headrests?

And the new active headrests, are they standard for any seat of just for the comfort seat?
