My Ride: 520d M-sport - Steptronic - Carbon Black - Auburn Leather - Mem Seat - Cup Holders - Nav Pro - Light Pack - Dim/folding mirrors - Adv Airco - PDC - Aux/in - Non-smoke pack - De-badged - Delivery Mar 31, 2006

And finally I took delivery of my 520d last Friday.
Got loads of advise from the BMW dealer on how to operate
and also on the run in instructions
- No high revving (if possible stay below 2000 rpm, but never above 3000 rpm
- No M/S
- No kick down
and this for the next 2000 KM. Decided to go on a journey to Paris to get over the run in period as soon as possible.
- Guess that from 2000 km onwards, things may start loosen up, but am expected back for an initial check up at about 7000 KM.
For me, it will likely be June by then when the fun can start

but don't get me wrong, am happy as can be
Since it was raining, just took a pic from the inside
with all the rain, looks like my carbonblack M sport beauty needs a wash already.
coming from a history of merc's, a new era started for me
I noticed already 1 funny thing yesterday: when I switched on the headlights manually in the garage, the car seems to agree for a ride by a gentle knot up and down of the headlights.
Could see it clearly with the projection on the wall.
You see, me and my baby, we are already good friends

I seem to have problems posting the pics. When I click on the add pic button the screen turns blank and stalls
what am I doing wrong?

It may be that your pictures are too large to post. You need to format them for the web. If you have Photoshop you can make this file size conversion. Check w/Lomag if you need additional support.
For now, I'll just have to believe you that you have a new E60.
