I just purchased a 2008 CPO 535i 6MT. It has premium, sport, cold, and sat radio.

29K miles.

Fantastic car - all checked out. It will arrive via truck next week as a surprise for my wife.

We are a BMW family. Know a lot about the cars. I have ordered some accessories and upgrades from memory.

Before I post what I'm going to do - what info do you have to advise me on regards this new purchase.

I'm open to advice and suggestions; especially as I don't know too much about E60's - let alone the refreshed 2008 model.

We will be coming from a 2008 335i sedan with 6MT similarly equipped. It's due in on lease and need a larger car.

Look forward to hearing back.

I see one big mistake here..........

If you give it to your wife she may not ever let you drive this wonderful car once she gets in it.

Exactly!! But the upside is, you'll then have an excuse to buy another for yourself!!!

Congrats on the awesome car ~ You and your wife will love it. Looking forward to seeing all the pics that are sure to follow, and hear about all your mods.

Congrats with the new car! The LCI model should bring you years of driving enjoyment! 6 speed manual is a rare find.

I can tell you it will feel like a big upgrade over your 3. Nothing against the 3, but its not in the same league as a 5 imo.
