One of those damn tractor mowers mowing grass along the interstate kicked up part of a truck tire and hit my car. Scratched the front bumper, headlight and put one hell of a dent in the hood. Thank god it didn't hit the windshield.

The mowing company was a subcontractor for the state and their insurance will pay for the damage. A new headlight alone is $1,000.00.

It's not all bad though. I was about to get the Mtech kit installed but since the front bumper needs to be removed and repainted I'm gettig the front bumper portion of the Mtech painted and installed for free.

We were traveling between 85 and 90 mph at the time, I guess you never know when something like that can happen. Next time I'll slow down when I see those damn mowers.

"one hell of a dent in the hood" Means you will probably get a new hood too. It's aluminum and hard to repair. Big bucks! Lucky for you they are paying for it.

I have always been wary of those mowers!! When I am mowing with my rider along the road frontage, I always stop the blades when a car approaches just because of what happened to you!! Good luck with the repair/replacement.

Slow down? Or speed up! If you had been going just a little bit faster, that chunk of tire would have missed you!
