Just picked up a 2004 545i today after owning a 528i e39 for 4 years, and while driving home I noticed the following...

1-No Bluetooth, thats because the car was made late 2003, so I guess it wasn't supported, need to call the dealer to see how much it will cost.

2-I think the windshield was replaced with a BMW version, does that impact the rain sensors at all? Also the HPS covers looks like they were removed.

3-The automatic transmission sometime slams into gears when shifting from 2 to 3 and the car jerks. I will try the automatic reset trick and see if that works.

4-The adaptive head lights turn more to the right than left when turning the steering wheel, is that right?

Otherwise the car is clean in and out, handles like a go cart, incredibly fast and the Logic 7 sounds soooo sweet!!!

Cheers

You can have the bluetooth enabled, I have a 04 and it should be able to be enabled. Try the reset, it should help, and also clean the MAF sensor.

Welcome to the family, post some pics!

Congrats! This is normal when the car is parked. That way you don't blind on coming cars if you turn the wheel to the left so you can pull out from the curb. Once the car is up to speed, it will turn equally left and right. If the car was UK spec, it would be the opposite.
