Picked up my car today and the silence is deafening! It feels/sounds like a new car. Hope it holds up. Also ordered my red reflectors.

A nice touch from the dealer is a free long-stemmed rose to bring home to our significant others.

how long did they take? they gave you a rose ? normally they are for ladies only . my friend's m3 has the same problem. in fact, even worse, the seal fell off .

This is good to hear Steve....I have had the carboflo treatment about 3 times, and the last time it lasted almost six months. But, now the creaks are back with a vengence!! I am going to try and get in next week and have the new seals installed. And, good call on the red reflectors......I think they are one of the cheapest mods you can do, and improve the look of the E60 tremendously. As a matter of fact, it's always the first thing I look for when I see another E60...well, that and the E60.net clings on the rear windows

It turns out that there was some damage done to my rear driver-side fender while at the dealer yesterday. About a 12" scuff, down to the primer, which I noticed when I got home. Called my SA this morning and they will take care of it, no hassles. I guess some of the guys who move the cars around don't feel too obligated to report damage, and leave it up to the customers to discover it.

You lucky Bimmian you, I got my seals replaced with the new parts and squeaks galore. Almost worst than before. Must be the climate in HI, not that dry stuff in CA.

I had mine replaced and after a month, the creaks were back with a vengeance. I'm noiw thinking of asking the dealer to stick the adhesive under the door frame. Worked the last time (before the change)

Don't know what its actually called (maybe anti friction tape) but its a strip that they stick onto the underside of your door frame. It stretches from the front all the way to the rear.

Had the new doors seals installed 2 days ago too and so far not squeaks too. Lets hope they stay that way. Also had the rear parcel shelf removed and refitted with new clips. Seems to have got rid of the parcel shelf rattle too.
