Good morning,
I have a question, have any of you had to replace a clutch on a 545I smg? I lost one the other day on a commute home here in Chicago with no warning at all. Terrible smell and car litup like a christmas tree. No slipping at all till it went. Luckly Motorwerks is in the town I live in.
Also I have been interested in upgrading to a M5 but the SMG issues I hear about occasionaly worry me, opinions? Wife may have to drive occasionaly and hence the SMG vrs manual.
Thanks and I appreciate others input when I am looking for an answer.

I won't think the clutch would wear out that quick unless you track your car. You may have some other issues in there. I'm sure they'll look at all when they get in there.
Interested in what they will charge you. Keep us updated.
