My Ride: 2006 530xi. Deep green with beige interior. 6 speed manual. Premium package.
Got a portable Nav system today - and wanted to use it right away so I loaded my 2 year old in the back and drove around. There was a bottle of Armor All in the back that I was using to spot clean some stuff earlier and left in the back seat. Nav system worked great
Fast forward 4 hours - get in my car and notice a strange smell - the 2 year old had opened the bottle of armoe all and it leaked all over the rear foot well - got most of it up - can not tell to look, but the smell is different

Maybe not a new car smell... at least it smells clean
eventually that smell will go away and you'll be able to smell that new car smell again
(I know from worse experiences ).

Since you guys mentioned drinking it, actually had another kid try that one
When #5 was helping me clean a car at age 2 - I looked away and she was sucking on the armor all bottle
Called poison control - it seems armor all is not tobad to drink, but just do not inhale the stuff
Really I am a good parent

Never had nav before - so got a garmin i2 to see if I would ever actaully use it - was only $200
So far it is a neat toy, but I don't go anwhere that I do not knoe very often - so still waiting to actually go on a trip and give it real world use
This is really cool - it is so small - like a tennis ball

Yeah, it's another silicone product, not very dangerous. My only suggestion would be to be sure you buckle the kids in on that seat....it'll probabaly be slippery for some time to come...
Oh, and my new-car smell pretty well left after picking up my 130# Newfoundland from the kennel on the way home with it.
Cheers,
Ray Hull
