you shouldve told us it was an m5, wouldve probably fooled me
the car doesn't have the wide body fenders, it's got an mtech kit instead of the m5 kit, no quads only single sided mufler, no m5 mirror, no trunk finisher and stock shifter (no smg). It's just a 535 with mtech and tons of m5 badges.

as for keeping up with an m5, there aren't any mods that you can do to keep up with an m5. MacFly and I have both raced FLYm5's dinan/RPI m5 and after 90 he passed us as if were were standing still. the only existing mod you can do as of this moment is asr's turbo upgrade with intercooler, fuel pump and ecu tune. Even if you get the asr turbo upgrade you will barely at 480 hp. You won't be able to beat the V10.... any m5 with minor mods will be able to burn the asr 535i. Besides the price you have to pay for the asr set up, you might well sell your car and buy an m5.

I say loose the badges....

+1 leave your car alone, mod it like the way an M-tech kit should be modded. There's a lot of members on here that are dying to have an M-tech kit and you should appreciate the look of your car.

p.s. if you ever want to race and you're in the So Cal area come out to one of our mexico runs.
i thought my car was fast with all the mods I had until I race an actual M5. i was humbled and sent home with my tail between my legs. i have quite a few vids posted here, just search for them in the search bar located in the upper right hand corner. enter 'mexico runs' you'll see my car left behind in the dust compared to the other m5s, cobra mustang, and lotus espirit turbo.

I think your car looks great! But like others have said, the M badge has to go...it's too much especially on the kidney grills

edit:

i posted something that was un called for. heres my real post

car looks great. everything is really nice except the m5 badges on the outside. ditch those. the sills eh whatever, they are cool but just dont try to portray something your not. if it makes you happy to have the m5 badges then i guess keep them. its your ride, your life, your choice.

This is as close I'll ever get to a M5. Without being raped in the ass by my insurance company. By the time I'm done it'll keep up with an M5. Still have to bring it back to the dealer for Dinan stage 2 turbo upgrade, and i have to make and appointment to install the headrest monitors, then carbon fiber rear dual exhaust diffuser, and dual pipe exhaust any suggestion? Just added Beyern 19inch rims, roof and trunk ACS spoiler, M pedals and e-brake handle, and carbon fibre mirror covers.
Great choice on the car and color! Can't wait to see your CF diffuser! Sorry, but I don't have any suggestions on the exhaust, as you can see I still have the OEM ones. However, if I could suggest outside of the exhaust, I would remove the M badge on the trunk and the front grill.

I actually like the front M badge, Its pretty unique and I'm fine with it and I think it looks great.
I wouldn't let anyone tell me what badge to put on and what to take off.

However, if you want a faster car, you don't add unecessary stuff to it you take it away, all those bling and screen monitor does is weigh the car down even more than factory.

Good luck.

With a JB3, RPi exhaust, and air filter, you still got dusted?
