Generally your new ride looks terrific. But I have to agree with the members who don't like someone putting M5 badging on what is not a M5. Believe me, I want a M5 too. It was a bit too much $$$ for me so I went with 550. I would never put M5 badging on what is not a M5. Having done meets and raced the real M5's, there is no substitute for the real M5 -- a car fast enough once it is in the heart of its engine's high RPM powerband to simply run away from my 550 and other lesser E60s.
Long live the Beast. And be proud of what you have. 535 is a terrific car far beyond the reach of most. Mod it all you want to look like the M5 (which is a stunning car) but don't badge it a M5. It's not.

If people want to spike their hair and color it purple, who are we to say it looks stupid. I'm sure they'll figure it out soon enough and ask themselves wtf they were thinking.

Nice car...i agree with not cool buying M badges putting it on a non M car but If he has some original M parts in his car why can't he put M badges? Like AMG u can get a 550 AMG from the dealer.

That's a beautiful car! But I do agree with the consensus that the ///M badging is a little overdone and the ///M side grill is out of place... Enjoy what you have, it's just perfect as is - there's no need to make out it's something it's not.

This is as close I'll ever get to a M5. Without being raped in the ass by my insurance company. By the time I'm done it'll keep up with an M5. Still have to bring it back to the dealer for Dinan stage 2 turbo upgrade, and i have to make and appointment to install the headrest monitors, then carbon fiber rear dual exhaust diffuser, and dual pipe exhaust any suggestion? Just added Beyern 19inch rims, roof and trunk ACS spoiler, M pedals and e-brake handle, and carbon fibre mirror covers.
as a fellow 535 owner, i'm a bit saddened that you don't feel the 535 is enough "car" for you that you have to feel you have to perpetrate to be an M5.
secondly, i have the Dinan stage 2....and forget about keeping up with an M5! trust me, i've tried!lol now a stock e92 M3, that's a different story!lol
lastly, rock what you got playboy! you're in a twin turbo BMW!
