Is DSC+ stated anywhere for Week 9 525 and 530s? Maybe its not included in the 545s I dunno.

I have received my 525i last week. According to the manual, climb assist brake is only available for the 4 wheels drive models (525ix, 530ix), ie. vehicles equipped with the HDC (Hill Descent Control). I don't know about the rest of DSC+ functions (emergency breaking, rain preparation, stop comfort) I have not see any difference when breaking to full stop.

Did you guys have E60's before week 9 to compare?? After a year I still have trouble stopping without it grabbing at the end.? But then again I set off the alarm 1 out of 3 times opening the trunk too?

I had a 2003 model before and the braking characteristics feel no different in the week 9 model.

I was thinking exactly the same merv - in fact I've experienced a tiny amount of roll back on a hill! And I certainly haven't noticed the stopping to be any softer.

Me too! In fact the other thing I have noticed is that when I engage reverse on a hill i.e. reversing up hill, I find the car rolls forward slightly due to a delay in the throttle reving the engine.

Anyone else notice this?

I've noticed that too - I just thought it was me not being used to the engine - that's really annoying, almost like the box doesn't engage quickly enough.
