I have received my 525i last week. According to the manual, climb assist brake is only available for the 4 wheels drive models (525ix, 530ix), ie. vehicles equipped with the HDC (Hill Descent Control). I don't know about the rest of DSC+ functions (emergency breaking, rain preparation, stop comfort) I have not see any difference when breaking to full stop.

[/quote]I've noticed that too - I just thought it was me not being used to the engine - that's really annoying, almost like the box doesn't engage quickly enough.
