New Brakes still Squealing
SO..... I got the indicator about 2 weeks ago that said I've worn down the rear brake pads to their minimum and I needed to get them replaced. Made an appointment with my Indy shop. Before taking it in for the work, there was a really loud sqeal with moderate pressure on the brakes, usually coming down from highway speeds.
Took the car in for the new brakes and was told that the front brakes needed to be replaced, ok fine, do it so I can pass inspection later this year. I assumed that with all new brakes pads and rotors, everything would be perfect... Right?
After a day in the shop and $1400 later, my brakes are still squealling the exact same as they were before. Is there something else that could be causing this annoyance??? Something with the brake fluid? Low pressure? I sprayed some brake silencer stuff on the rotors, but they are still squealling... WTH?

The shop probably didn't use the grease. When you change the brakes you want to rub some grease(can't remeber what its called) between the brake pads and the contact points on the caliper. Why didn't you do your brakes yourself? $1400 is really stiff for such a simple job.
