Default E60 LCI Night Vision failure, solution needed?

Hello,

I have faced a problems with my E60 LCI's (530D) Night Vision system.

The system was working just fine for a 3-4 weeks after I bough my BMW. But while driving a 150km's journey on a cold day ( +1 C) and in awful rain I faced some problems.

The system worked fine the first 110 kilometers. Only thing that has come up to mind as afterwards is that the screen was having a quick (<200-300ms) disturbance (colors mixed) every time when the night vision was turned on but after the phenomenom it worked just fine (the disturbance was almost noticable).
For the rest of the journey I didn't use the system at all. But after the 1 km away from the destination suddenly the "Night vision failure" code popped up from the check control.

I have read the error codes with various software.
Originally I got two various code in Night Vision module (ECU, not camera)
1. Smart Switch failure A74A.
2. Nigtt Vision ECU communication (A74E) (also known as LIN communication ECU)

I reset the error codes and the smart switch part was cleaned away but the ECU fault comes always back.

I have checked the wiring from the camera side in the front bumber to solve that could there be water got through to the connector pins (the location is not very waterproof...) but everything seemed to be fine.

My question is how to proceed? Do you have any tips or have you faced similar problems?
If I have understood correctly there is also diagnostic feature inside the camera in addition to ECU but I can't read the codes from it (ECU fault might forbids the connection...).
Is the LIN fault of ECU possible to be caused from some particular reason? Is it caused by the incoming wiring or outgoing?

As you know the cost for the new bumber camera is unbelievable high so only option that I'm willing to pay is the new NV ECU. Otherwise the Night Vision feature shall be coded to be removed from the car.

Thank you for your comments in advance.
