My Ride: 2010 BMW 528XI, 1954 Oldsmobile Super 88 324cui
Model Year: 2010
the part number i pulled out of my car was
9196762-01
It's built by Visteon
PN# CP8KAF-18C852-LF
Pulling the radio out is easy, a few trim pieces and being slow/cautious you can do the job yourself.
The CIC unit is a good upgrade, member changing the radio station? that 3-4 second pause? for Dramatics?... I hated it... CIC is instantaneous as it should be.
IMO CIC makes the car what it should have been and what it was in the late 2010 run.

So I am clear, the CIC is the newest version correct? With the CCC version being the one between the M-ask and new?
Watching the videos last night and experience I do have, I know I can replace the unit myself, but not the programming... which is probably the solution that I will follow.
This morning, no battery drain warning, which is good news (I got the warning 8 hours after on a brand new battery on the weekend).
For your upgrade, Did you go the ebay parts route, or buy the kit?
Again thank you so much for your help with this...
