New Battery, car died when trying to start
Hello All, its been a while since I last posted a thread here but often come back to diagnose problems with my e60.
Last night I attempted to install MR12 volt for Carplay functionality.
After MR12 volt install my car would not start so I picked up a new battery.
It went well but after i installed it i realized it has to be coded via Bimmercode prior to installation.
I disconnected the battery after install to disconnect the MR12volt module. After disconnecting and reverting back to stock was completed, I reattached the battery. Interior lights came on but when I went to restart it the whole car died. No Power, no lights... nothing.
It is a brand new battery so I disconnected it, waited 15 mins and connected it again with no avail.
I followed the standard disconnect procedures, but no dice.
Left it unplugged, went to Costco and exchanged the battery. Have not reconnected the new one.
Any advice you can give me? Checked all the fuses in the glove and in the trunk. Been looking all over the forums and can not find a resolution. HELP!!!
