My Ride: 2002 330CIC with Sports and Premium (Sold 4/2005)
2005 545I Black Saphire Metalic, with Black Dakota Leather, Poplar trim. Sport Package, MTech Body kit and Spoiler, HUD, Comfort Seats, Navigation, Premium sound, CWP, Heated Rear Seats, Window shades. Valentine 1 hardwired, Aux input.
OK. Going back and forth, back and forth, back and ................ you get the idea. I live in socal, and like all socal folks say, a 545 is just another car here. New wheels are a must, and I really like the looks of 19's on the E60. I just think the 18's look very ordinary.
But, I want to keep the integrity of the product in tact. Do the aftermarkets make me look like some kid who is trying too hard? ( Remember those Nissan Sentras back in the 90's with 20s sticking out 5 inches. Rediculous ) I love the M5 rim, and now that we are starting to see them on the road, the wheels should be available. I found out from BMWNashville that the rears will not fit on the non-M E60, but his Techs say you could put 4 fronts on the car. ( by the way, what an asset to this site, props to Jeremy. ) Do you need a wider wheel on the rear? Has anyone put fronts on their rear?
I like the HRE, and the Radenergie, but do they take away from the integrity of the product. ACS is in another league, but I just cant see spending that kind of money modding a car.
Please help. I need to make some decisions here, because I want to get it all done before I bring the car home. The wife won't know the difference. I already ordered my M body kit. I am leaning toward the M5 rim.

If you are in socal, you can get those at place in North Hills called Wesco tire. They deal with all the local BMW dealers and do all the swap outs. By the way, I dont work for them.
