Thanks for all the advice. I live in Toronto.
I will probably stay with the 17" continental tire package, and go for after market rims/ sports tires in the summer.
By the way, I am taking BMW advanced driver training level 1 next month (a freebie for getting my car). Anyone have any experience?

It's a hell of an experience and lots of fun!
You'll do some emergency braking, emergency lane changes, slalom driving, oversteering and understeering... You'll enjoy it! And it's all on their cars (330i's), not on yours. So you're not ruining your tires or brakes...

After completing the advanced drivers training, you can participate in the intensive drivers training, going on track, and after that you'll have the chance to take part of the perfection drivers training, where you allready have to wear a helmet and learn to drift...

BMW drivers trainings are great!
Have fun!

I already had a flat with my run-flats with about 1200 miles on them. It cost $468USD to replace it at the dealer. Fortunately I have tire insurance. $400 was returned to me.

Good to find a local 545 pilot
- we should organize a GTG ![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)
I did the level 1 last year and they held it at the Downsview Airport.... It was a lot of fun but tiring towards the end of the day. Pick an automatic over stick. I picked a stick but the clutch had a strange take up...and other people also complained about the clutch on the 330i.... most stick shifters stalled during first emergency brake and lane change exercise. Quite a hand full to brake, steer and remember to clutch and avoid a pylon !
