Thumbs up

I'm new to these boards but am about to lease a 535i with Sport Package, Premium, Navigation, Dakota Leather, PDC, Sirius, Auto Sunshade, Heated front seats, and iPod adapter.

MSRP is 60K. Edmonds invoice price shows 55K. I'm getting it for 57K with money factor of .0025 and residual of 62%. Putting $1,700 down gives me a lease payment of $695 before tax, $751 with tax.

What do you think? Good deal?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Bump..

I am also looking to get into the 535i and have a similiarly equipped car in mind. Also wondering if that is a good payment, although I am looking at a 24 month lease.
Anybody have any lease numbers for a 535i around $58-60k?

How many months is the lease? I'd personally have a problem with paying $2K over invoice for a 535i or any other car for that matter, but that's me. $1500 over invoice would be the top figure I'd be offering. My goal, however, would be $1K over. Making $1500 should be more than enough for most dealers to let you have one. Be persistent.

I paid a mere $100 (one-hundred) over invoice on my '07 530xi, but they were giving them away in May since they were literally the last of the lot, and my MF was only 0.001. My MSRP was $55K and with $3500 total at signing, my payment came to $520/mo. (not including tax) for 30 month w/ 12k miles. Sweet!

As for your "deal," check the numbers yourself just to make sure they did the math right. If you don't know how to calculate a lease, it's easy..

Use the following formula:

(Cap Cost – Residual Value) / Term = Depreciation
(Cap Cost + Residual Value) X Money Factor = Interest
Depreciation + Interest = Base Monthly Payment.....and then add your tax to this montly payment....EASY!

Dump that Audi you have and buy the 535 already! Why do I have the feeling I know you personally.

PS - Update your signature, so we know where you are from. Even though I know you're from LA, there are a lot of LA members on this forum that can help you.

Pulled the trigger yesterday. Ordered a 535i for ED in January. ( I know, not the best time to go, but I am going to be in Germany anyways to see some family).
Black Sapphire with Grey leather. Nav, HUD, PDC, Manual, Sport and Premium. 24 month lease, 15k miles per year and it comes out to about $840 a month with nothing down.
