Do you have any problems with dirt after changing to the straight line exhaust ??
Does the car get black around the exhaust area ??

[quote name='E60Sim' date='Feb 18 2005, 02:52 PM']Exatly, the exhaust looks like the 545i / 535d round tip!

I do really hate the look on our exhaust, our car was born to (!!!) weeks before the 530d got the straight line exhaust...

You can get the old downturned tailpipes changed for about 300Euro. I had mine done and it looks just like these pictures.

What i meant is that MY05 cars all have the chrome tips. All have small oval chrome tips and the
535d / 545i have larger diameter round chrome tips and a valve inside the right pipe. This is a 530d with what looks like round tips.

Good point - these look bigger/better than standard 530d pipes. They must have upgraded them recently.

Marty530d,

Kjeld has upgraded his exhaust tips. I've mailed him in Danish about his upgrade, and I got some good information about how to get ride of my tailpipes in Denmark.

I will post pictures of my car, after a wash and with the same exhaust pipes as Kjeld has.

Good luck with them - you'll feel a lot better when they are done.
