It makes you think, doesn't it? Perhaps we Europeans could go to the US to order a USA-spec E60, take European delivery and then import the car from Germany to our own country? Come to think of it, it's not that outrageous a scenario. $53k would make EUR35k, while the car would be around EUR50k w/o taxes (in Belgium). It would pay.
