Correct. Xdrive is a 4x4 system, with a rear wheel drive bias. It also has more suspension/ground clearance then the RWD.

It also has like no exhaust/suspension/wheel parts made specifically for it....

But that's another story.

Haha good point. Quick question though, with this car being an X-drive model, would it be possible for me to lower it? When I asked the dealer about this he said these models specifically sit higher because of the X drive, and that lowering it affect its traction in the snow?

Also do the after market M-tech kits fit this model or should I just try and get it done through BMW? (They are expensive!! hehe)

I think the full extent of mods I want to do are limited to changing to pure white angel eyes, changing the front bumper, and maybe putting in the Dinan free flow exhaust. Will changing the exhaust in any way void my warranty? (I figure since i wasn't really changing the software or putting a chip in that it would be alright) Thanks for all the help guys!!

most aftermarket tunes/flashes work hard to stay invisible/undetectable. If it's something you are really concerned about a BT scanner can be purchased for a reasonable price to delete any tuner/manip codes. For longevity, I would choose a flash over a piggy-back. ESS and GIAC are great flashes for the price and gains. Dinan is a great flash as well, but you'll be spending more money on this, but the warranty they provide does help take the price difference better. Do your research on all, there a re few threads on here discussing 535i/xi-N54 engine performance mods. E90 posts FI section is another good resource for performance mods along with n54tech.com

Congrats on your e60 and good luck with your future mod decisions....
