hmmm mine's the 08 LCI but I don't have this feature... I just tried activating my "Welcome Light" but after I lock and unlock the car the headlight doesn't turn on. Only the puddle light and interior lighting went on.

Do I need a software upgrade to activate this? btw I had my ECU reflashed by Speed Innovation, so if I get an update will this wipe out my ECU mod?

You need to have your lights set to 'auto' for this feature to work.

I've just tried mine with the lights set at '0' and the welcome lights wouldn't work... this could be your problem

shouldnt it work with the switch on full ON also. Manual calls it the position2 while the auto is position3.

What annoys me is why not have this feature regardless of the switch position. Its so cool and like me, many people may not want the xenons blasting away using the autofeatue and have the switch as 0. I then lose out on this cool lights up and down display. I now do my shopping late at night just so I can see the lights up/down better.

Any why don't the eyebrow lights work with the switch at 0 also. I think so volvo designers have moved into BMW.!!

cheers

Thanks for the vid Gene - this is a super HOT feature! I watched it while in a meeting and it took everything for me not to get all giddy
