The new 2008 5 series is on the BMWUSA.com website finally. Also the new M3 is on there too. Under the "Vehicles" tab click "Future Vehicles". Full write up on the refinements done the 5 series. Also a write up on the new M3 with the V8 which has 420hp. This might have been covered on this forum, but I just didn't see it yet.
The 550i future section has been there for a while and I just saw a new 2008 550i on the street, so I am not sure why one can not build and price on the website.
I would still wait until summer and opt for the sport auto.
Perhaps dealers still need to unload the pre-facelift models?

I don't understand why it's taking so long for them to update the "build your own" section of the site. If it was all about unloading existing 2007 inventory, then they wouldn't feature the new updated 5 series on the "front page" (along with the 3 coupe -- just hit refresh once the page loads to see both versions).
You don't have to dig very far to see and learn about the new 5 series on the site but you still can't build one...

Really, they just need to copy the configurators from bmw.de or UK and make some modifications for US packages.
