What non run flat tires do you recommend (18 inch)? I'm coming from an Accord so its a little more firm, but the handling is incredible on the bmw.
If it don't rain much Michelin PS2's are very good, but if you have some rain then the Primacy HP's.
Bridgestone Potenza RE 50's are also very good tires.
Also Pirelli P Zero Rosso's have been recommend by some.
I'm also very happy with my Dunlop Sport Maxx's but the Sport SP 1's are not good.
I also feel the Continentals are noisy.

This is kind of a stupid question but do you think this car can be driven up to 100k+ mile range? Could I drive this thing until 150k miles without it falling apart?

One more thing, you may want to change your cars battery, it don't cost that much.
It's wise to do it at the dealers, to avoid any malfunctions on your car.
On this forum there have been lately reported a lot of problems caused by a
lousy battery with cars only 3 years old.
A BMW is good for more than 150,000 miles, if served and taken care of.
Over here we have a lot of E60 BMW taxi's, they are driven about 250,000 km's
when they get their next owner.

Funny thing you mention the battery. When I first looked at the car at the dealership, they had to jump start it, the seats would move (under power) but I guess it wouldn't start. They said the car had been sitting for a while, and therefore the battery discharge.

Some things from the service history:
Bracket Steering Column Switch @ 341 miles and @ 16032 miles (what is this?)
Oil level/oil condition sensor permanent malfunction @ 30k miles
Sunroof visor poorly adapted/fitted @ 30k miles
Everything else looks like standard work, brake pads, oil etc.
Should I be worried?
The problems seem minor.

Nothing to be worried about. Good that you have the service history!
The sunroof should (!) now be OK and the faulty sensor changed.
Demand a new battery also!

Is there a way to turn off the seat belt warning chime/message?Seat belts saves lives and avoids serious face traumas!
I use the belt all the time and don't have a problem with it.
Have seen car accident patients not using the seat belt?
Usually one has to go to a funeral.

I always use my seatbelt, and I fully agree with you on the safety of it! Its just that sometimes you're just moving the car around a few feet and it starts to chime.
